LGBTQ+ Group: Blog

CategoriesUncategorized

Day 1

Here at the Moira Anderson Foundation (MAF), we currently hold the bronze award
in the LGBT Youth Scotland Charter. The fundamental principal of the charter is to
provide organisations with knowledge, guidance, training and advice on policies and
procedures pertaining to full inclusion for everyone in the LGBTQ+ community as
they engage in our services.

It is of the upmost importance to all staff, volunteers, and board members at MAF
that everyone who attends feel equally, safe, accepted, believed, and understood,
free of judgement or discrimination of any kind.

With that in mind, we are proud to announce we have decided to go for gold this
year! We feel there is always room for improvement and will strive to be the best we
can be for our clients and their families. We have a lot of hard work ahead to
achieve our goal, however, we are excited and fully invested in creating positive
changes going forward.

We will be posting our progress, to keep you all informed, and would love your
support. Speak soon.
