COVID 19 Update from Gillian Urquhart, Director MAF

CategoriesUncategorized

MAF has listened carefully to the advice about the recent additional restrictions around person to person contact. Regretfully, we will not be delivering face to face services until such additional restrictions are eased.

Our priority is safety. We understand that the virus needs human contacts to spread. The most recent restrictions aim to limit person to person contact and therefore limit spread of the virus. It will not eliminate the virus but will make it more manageable within our communities.

We know this is a disappointing blow to many including our staff team who have worked tirelessly throughout. Preparations for re-opening the premises for limited face to face support had already been completed and we had hoped to resume some limited direct service in early October.

However, we are still available and still offering support:

Our staff will continue to work safely from home
One to one client support will be delivered by phone and video call
Current remote services will continue to be provided
We can be contacted by phone on 01236 602890 or email us at reception@moiraanderson.org
